One day workshop was conducted on “Leadership Development Process” on 10th August 2020. Fifty faculty members of UAS, Dharwad attended. The speaker Mr. MadhuPurohit, said leadership is the capacity to lead others and command. It is a process of guiding, directing and managing of the team members. He further mentioned that leadership development is the process which helps to expand the capacity of individuals to perform in leadership roles within organizations.
It facilitates execution of an Institute’s strategy through building alignment and developing the capabilities of others. The roles may be formal with the corresponding authority to make decisions and take responsibility or informal roles with little official authority.
