Augmenting Quality and Relevance of Higher Agricultural Education through Enhanced Learning Outcome and Entrepreneurship Development

The workshop was conducted from 12-14 March 2020. Dr. K. L. Khurana, Principal Scientist (Retd), Education Division, ICAR, New Delhi inaugurated the workshop along with Dr. P. K. Shukla, Registrar, DUVASU, Mathura and   Dr. A. K. Punia, Principal Scientist, ICAR-NDRI inaugurated the workshop. Dr. Khurana explained about the entrepreneurial opportunities in the field of Veterinary Sciences. Fifteen eminent personalities from various organizations such as ICAR, Veterinary Universities, NGO and private industries gave talks on recent advances in Veterinary Care, Dairy Foods, Poultry and Dairy Industries, Animal Nutrition, Fodder Production and entrepreneurial opportunities in Animal and Veterinary Sciences. A field visit was organized to fodder production units at ICAR-IGFRI and Integrated Farming System at KVK, Dharwad. Veterinary Professionals from the Dept. of Veterinary Health and Animal Husbandry, Agricultural Universities and Final Year B. V. Sc & A. H students participated in the workshop.
