Online National workshop for students on “Innovative use of online resources to enhance entrepreneurial skills among students” was organized on 9th January 2021 to develop entrepreneurial skills in students using online resources. The workshop was inaugurated by Dr M.B. Chetti, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and Team Leader, IDP who emphasized the need for usage of online resources by the students to develop entrepreneurial skills among them. He also expressed that such awareness creating workshops will certainly enhance the usage of digital content. Prof P.G.Tadasad, Registrar (Evaluation), Karnataka State Akkamahadevi Women’s University, Vijayapura in his keynote address emphasized that the country is ready to use the digital resources both for academics and research as there is heavy demand for e-content. In this context he pointed on framing appropriate action plans to inculcate the skills of using digital resources. He also advised the role to be played by librarians, administrators, policy makers and other stakeholders. Mr. B S Ravishankar, Informatics, Bengaluru gave a virtual demonstration to the students on how to use J-Gate, an electronic gateway to global e-journal literature using various online resources. About 310 participants, mainly students attended the workshop. The workshop was organized by Dr. Deepthi, Dr. R. Vasudeva and Dr. H. Shivanna. Dr. P. U. Krishnaraj and Dr. K.V. Ashalatha were present during the workshop.
