Inauguration of the training by Dr M.B. Chetti, Hon’ble Vice Chancellor and Team leader.
On line training for students on “Networking, Marketing and Negotiation Skills” was conducted on October 24, 2020 to impart skills of marketing, negotiating and networking among students. The training was inaugurated by Dr. M. B. Chetti, Team Leader and Hon’ble Vice Chancellor, UAS, Dharwad who emphasized the need for learning the marketing and negotiating skills for young entrepreneurs. About 120 participants, mainly students, underwent the training. Three resource persons, Dr. Uthkarsh Ghate, Mr. Abhilash M. and Mr. Varun Hegde trained the students on various aspects of marketing skills. There was a session for sharing the experience. The training was Organized by Dr. R. Vasudeva, Nodal Officer, IDP Centre, Sirsi and Dr. H. Shivanna, Nodal Officer and Dean, College of Forestry, Sirsi. Dr. P. U. Krishnaraj, Principal Investigator of IDP- UASD introduced the IDP project and Dr. K.V. Ashalatha, Associate co-ordinator welcomed the participants and delegates to the programme.
