IDP Related Experience

• Involved in teaching UG and PG courses of the department, Guided 25 MHSc and 3 Ph.D students as chairman and 74 students as member of advisory committee.Worked as student counsellor for around 20 students every year, 24 Technologies based on indigenous grains, underutilized fruits, vegetables and tubers were developed for entrepreneurship. Accompanied UG students of College of Agriculture, College of Rural Home Science and College of Forestry to the Study Abroad Programme to IOWA State University Ames, USA to have exposure on Agriculture and Cultural scenario of North America. Authored a text book on “Food preparation – a scientific approach” for use of the students of FSN. Participated in International Workshop on Teaching Excellence, organized by Satguru Foundation at New Delhi. Worked as External Examination Co-ordinator of college of Rural Home Science

IDP Related Experience

• Developed 6 laboratory manuals viz., Human Physiology and Environmental Hygiene, Advanced Human Physiology, Food Additives, Food Preservation and Storage, Elementary Food Science, Techniques of Food Analysis. Developed teaching learning material. Innovative teaching through role play, quiz was employed in UG teaching. Organised four ICAR sponsored summer/ Winter schools as co-director. Developed e-course material for 2 UG courses. Health hygiene and sanitation. Food science. Evaluated contents for e-course Introduction to Human Nutrition developed for BSc (Agri) degree programme.
